Comforting Hearts: Remembering Two Great Lights
Our Wild Mustard Seed family is grieving the loss of two radiant women of God—Ms. Sunrise and Ms. Sunset. Both poured out love, faith, and joy to everyone they met. As we mourn, we cling to God’s promise to comfort the brokenhearted and celebrate the beautiful legacy these two great lights leave behind.

In the beginning...
An ancient Jewish fable reveals that all 22 Hebrew letters auditioned to open the Word of God. While others bragged, Bet stepped up and said, "Open creation with me, for I stand for Berachah (Blessing)!" God agreed, starting the universe with a blessing. Meanwhile, humble Aleph stood silently in the back. God rewarded its modesty by making it the first letter of the Ten Commandments (Anochi / "I Am").

Vocabulary - Word - Tohu va-Vohu (תֹּהוּ וָבֹהוּ)
"The earth was wild and waste (Tohu va-Vohu)..." This Hebrew phrase from Genesis 1:2 describes a catastrophic, formless chaos covered in pitch-black darkness. John 1 mirrors this backdrop to show that Jesus enters our personal wreckage in the exact same way. When your life feels empty, broken, and completely out of control, the Creator steps directly into your Tohu va-Vohu. He binds the chaos, orders the mess, and speaks His unshakeable peace over your darkest storms.

Let There Be Light: My Genesis Story, and How God Brought me out the Darkness
From multiple six-figures to sitting on a dark floor with a gun to my head, my life was a total, catastrophic hot mess. I was trapped in the Tohu va-Vohu—the wild and waste—with darkness closing in. But right in the middle of my wreckage, when I cried out for relief, God met me in the chaos. He didn't let the darkness win. Discover how the Creator of the universe stepped into my brokenness, ordered my mess, and whispered, "Let there be light." Morning has finally come.
