"For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21)
Just as the tiniest of seeds stretches into a towering tree, the mustard seed reveals a profound spiritual truth: God takes our small and seemingly insignificant beginnings and grows them into something of extraordinary impact. We don't need giant, flawless faith to be used by Him. Even the smallest measure of faith, surrendered to God, can become a mighty vessel for His redeeming love—because through His grace, all things are possible.

Tohu va-Vohu (תֹּהוּ וָבֹהוּ)

Moses uses Tohu va-Vohu to describe the ultimate darkness and chaos before God created the world. John mirrors this backdrop in John 1 to show that Jesus is the Creator who enters our personal wreckage in the exact same way. It means that when your life feels completely empty, broken, and out of control, God steps directly into your chaos to bring order, separate the darkness, and speak His unshakeable light into existence.

Lord Jesus,

I come to You just as I am, knowing how much I need a Savior. I confess that I have sinned, and I know I cannot save myself. I believe that You are the Son of God, born of a virgin, who came to earth and died on the Cross to pay the price for my sins. I believe You rose from the dead, conquering sin and death to give me eternal life.

Today, by faith, I surrender my life completely to You. I receive Your free gift of grace and salvation. Wash me clean and make me new. You are my Lord and Savior, and I trust You to lead my steps from this day forward. I give You all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise.
